Global warming is a big fat lie!

it is... if it were really true, then why on earth would I have to put up with this!

It's the end of May people! The last week of school! It's supposed to be all sunny and warm for field day and dance festival. I feel really bad for any of my neighbors who have planted anything outside that aren't going to weather this. These last several weeks have made me feel more like we're living in Seattle than the dry desert Utah is supposed to be. Please pray with me that we'll have nice weather Wednesday and Thursday.

One of my favorite weekends

Some of you may know I'm LDS, better known as Mormon, and this weekend is one of my favorites of the whole year. Conference weekend just fills my soul and strengthens my resolve to do better and be better. So far this morning I heard talks from several amazing people. I love how I can listen and hear answers to my prayers and the person next to me can hear the same talk and get something totally different out of it than I did, something in there that spoke to their heart and maybe answered their prayers. I can't wait to hear what this afternoons session holds for me. :)

yeah, yeah, yeah...

I know it's been forever. Summer came and I just didn't know how many posts you all wanted to see about my kids playing video games. Then I had just been out of the habit for so long that I didn't even look at this place. I'm not even gonna try and catch you up... there's just too much. So I'm starting from today or maybe the last month and we'll see where it goes from there.

I don't care who you are... this is cool! While watching E3 this morning with Zac we saw the demo for xbox's newest controller "project natal", where you are the controller. Unfortunately they have no release date or price for this yet. I'd have to say this totally one-up's Wii. Can't wait!!

Now nothings getting done

And I was doing so good too. I got three bathrooms, the laundry room and half the laundry in the house done along with major tidying in the garage... all in one day, too! Well, this is why.



Which means I have lots of leverage until her newness wears off! She came home with us yesterday. Emily's been begging for a pet since we had to find new homes for our dogs since we can't have them here. Emily's friend's cat had a litter and we got first choice. She doesn't have a name yet... everyone wants to name her something different.
