Craftiness

If you came to my house right now you would definetly be able to tell I've been crafting. It literally looks like a bomb exploded flowers and paper all over my front room. The up side of the disaster that is now my front room is fun new creations to keep and share.
This weeks fun was wood blocks made for a friends baby shower gift. The base and letters were the easy part... can't go wrong with pink and brown for a baby girl, but the mess began when I had to find embellishments to decorate the fronts of the blocks. Out comes anything and everything pink to see of it would match the pink on the paper... can't be too big or too small and all the other concerns that go along with it.
I'm happy with the results of my project and the mommy-to-be loved the gift.
When you craft do you leave a huge mess in your wake? How long does it take for you to clean it up?

Getting my scrap on

Since the holidays are over I am finally getting a chance to play with my scrappy supplies. I just recently bought a kit over at Croppin' Paradise, a very cute bo-bunny mini album. It's an older kit but the paper is cute and the theme was something I can always use. I had a lot of left over paper from it so I put this page together using the scraps. I've also made some cards with it as well. The layout is a sketch I used from Page Maps, originally for a 8.5 x 11" horizontal page, but I think it works well for my cutie girls' pictures.
