As promised... a picture of the apron I made for the apron swap. Not to toot my own horn, but I think I did pretty dang good for my first time using a pattern. I've only made a few things like a rag quilt and a super easy caddy for Emily's locker neither requiring this kind of detail. I really loved making it and am so glad I bought enough fabric to make two!I have to give some credit to my mom and my friend Carol for walking me through this and teaching me some of the basics. Some of the directions were a bit confusing and it really helped to have some one kinda show me since I learn and retain things better visually.

Yesterday my kids were so bored and desperate to go outside but the weather wasn't cooperating. It was cold, windy and overcast but they weren't deterred by that. They found a way to stay warm and still jump on the trampoline!
Update: the new DT over at A Million Memories has been chosen. I was not one of them. I'm doing good and am very happy for the 8 girls that made it.
